Forget Me Not is designed to work right out of the box. This guide covers the modes, signals, and a few things worth knowing.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Fully charge the wearable until the red charge LED turns off! Next, touch the button until you see a blue LED turn on. The blue led will then flash to indicate the system is in operation.
To save battery you can put it in sleep mode while not in use by touching the button until a red LED turns on. When the battery gets low, an LED will start blinking fast and the buzzer will buzz 3 times, then stops. It is time for you to charge the wearable battery.
Open it, pair it, go. No accounts. No downloads. No setup beyond charging the wearable the first time.
This is the part that stays with you and vibrates whenever you leave your belonging behind. It can be on your wrist, pocket, or necklace. Its battery is rechargeable using micro-USB.
Clips, sticks, or hangs on the belonging you don't want to leave behind. Coin-cell battery lasts up to 8 months.
The wearable has two main modes, Normal and Sleep.
When you leave your tag behind while in Normal mode, the wearable vibrates in a repeating pattern: a series of short buzzes, then one second of silence, looping until you're back in range. Walk back toward your belonging and the vibration stops on its own.
The wearable keeps you informed about its state of charge through both the LED and a vibration pattern.
No special indication. The LED flashes at its normal rate (slow blue in Normal mode, slow red in Sleep mode). Everything is working as expected.
The LED starts flashing fast. In addition, the wearable vibrates once every 30s exactly 3 times. It is time for you to charge your battery.
While plugged in via the micro usb, the red charge indicator LED turns on. The button does not respond during charging. Once fully charged the red charge indicator LED turns off. Unplug the battery to resume operation.
In a meeting, at home, or anywhere you want to pause alerts without turning the device off. Sleep mode is one button-touch away.
Touch the button until the red LED turns on. The device will stop alerting. The red LED will continue to flash slowly to confirm it's in Sleep mode.
Touch the button until the blue LED turns on. The device returns to Normal mode and will resume alerting you if your belonging goes out of range.
Charge using the included micro-USB cable.
The tag runs on a CR2016 coin-cell battery that comes pre-installed. According to the manufacturer, it is expected to last up to 8 months under normal use. When it dies, pop the back of the tag open and replace the coin cell.
